The blue dress! The shoes! The Kacey Musgraves! The lake! The summer evening! Everything about this evening could not have been more perfect. I am biased, of course, because these people are some of the closest friends in my life. It is always such an honor to capture moments for people I love so much.
Joe & Emma got engaged at Lake Bentonville in Arkansas. The evening was perfect. It was the only day that week that ended up not being extremely windy. The sun was out; not a cloud in the sky. I came early with one of my friends to set up, and they arrived 30 minutes later.
I was with Emma when we picked out her engagement dress. I was with Joe when we picked out the ring. Joe and I brain stormed the vision for the evening and I got to help bring it to life. Everything that was prayed for came to fruition that evening. I could barely see what I was shooting because of the tears. This will be my number one favorite proposal for the rest of my life!
